Additional Programs

Mental Health & Wellbeing

Companion pets reduce stress, anxiety, and loneliness. The MD SPCA works with the Baltimore County Department of Aging, senior living facilities, and other organizations to provide programing to fulfill everyone’s mental health and wellbeing needs. Programming includes therapy pet visits and educational programs tailored to the organization’s request.

Speaking Engagements

Our humane education team is happy to make a presentation to your group. The Maryland SPCA can speak on a variety of animal welfare topics tailored to your specific audience. We can even bring a certified pet ambassador!

Art Show

The Kindness for Paws Art Show lets kids creatively explore compassion, empathy, respect, and kindness. Through drawing, painting, sculpting, and other art forms, students can clarify feelings and ideas as well as retain information on animal care and adoption. The Art Show culminates in an exhibition at White Marsh Mall and online at KindnessForPaws.org.
