The Human Side of Dog Reactivity

May 17, 2020 @ 6:00 am - 8:00 am $75

Class will be held LIVE online. Zoom meeting details will be emailed after registration.

Has your dog’s on-leash growling, barking, and lunging toward other dogs begun stressing you out? Do you want to understand their behavior better and get some immediate relief? If so, then this is the workshop for you!

Work with your reactive dog in the comfort and safety of your own home. This class is designed to provide you with the essential information needed to effectively manage your dog on-leash around other dogs.

You will learn the following:

• Why does my dog growl, bark, and lunge at other dogs on-leash?
• What does my dog’s body language mean?
• How can I get my dog to pay attention to me on walks?
• How can I prevent my dog from going off on other dogs so I can enjoy my walks again?
• Live demo with follow-up feedback of two prevention techniques with your dog.

The workshop is limited to four participants to allow for adequate coaching of prevention training techniques.

Once you have registered, you will be emailed the Zoom meeting details for the class.

LENGTH: 2 hours
TUITION: $ 75 per person or family.

For more information or to be placed on a waiting list for upcoming workshops, please email trainer@mdspca.org or call 410-235-8826, ext. 151.

Once you have completed the workshop, you will be given priority access to enroll in our outdoor reactive rover group class. You will also be given a $50 off coupon code that you can apply when registering for the live group class.
