Lemon

Lemon has an iconic face.

This sweet, frowning senior came to the MD SPCA with a handful of medical issues. At first, this beautiful boy looked like he only needed a teeth cleaning. Upon further investigation, the MD SPCA medical team discovered several small tumors and hyperthyroidism.

Lemon spent months in a loving foster home while the dedicated team treated his teeth, removed the tumors, tested the cells, and ran bloodwork. Finally, this iconic kitty was medically cleared. He quickly attracted an adopter committed to continuing his hyperthyroid medication and monitoring his skin health. We recently heard from Lemon’s adopter:

“Lemon is just as sweet as he can be and he is adjusting great! He is such a big fluffy awesome boy! He’s such a sweetie and so glad he’s such a great fit!!”
