Tuesdays from 5 - 6 p.m., Starting September 17.

The Maryland SPCA’s Wagging Tales Reading Hour is for youth ages 6-12 years old and features monthly reading themes and participation incentive prizes. This Humane Education initiative helps both children and pets. It reinforces to children that pets should be loved and treated kindly while they strengthen their reading skills without being judged on their reading abilities. Additionally, the pets enjoy the company, and it reduces stress in pets who may be anxious in a kennel environment.
