The first step to getting started as a volunteer at the Maryland SPCA is to attend a Volunteer Orientation. Orientations are held twice a month at the MD SPCA. At orientation, prospective volunteers are invited to learn more about the MD SPCA, volunteer policies, and how you can get involved.

Space is limited in each session and new sessions are added every month. If all sessions are full, please check back next month for more opportunities!

You may ONLY attend this orientation if you sign up for it online!

Please note that if you come to an evening volunteer orientation without your own transportation, your ride must be on the property by 6:30 p.m. prior to our gates closing.
