AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN FOSTER
Misty Brown was extremely stressed here in the shelter, so she's been hanging out in a foster home to get in some serious R&R. Here's what her foster mom has to say about her:
Misty Brown is a very special lady. She is SO sweet. She loves to plop over for belly rubs and loves to be picked up and give lots and lots of kisses. She occasionally gives love bites but immediately returns to kisses. She has some mobility issues with some fused vertebrae, so walks slowly and only jumps on things lower to the ground from what I've seen. She can get overstimulated, showing warning signs, and hissing or swatting if you don't pick up on them. It took me a few days to understand them and it wasn't a problem. She did not respond well to my young cat that didn't give her space but did well with my older cat and dog that respected her space. She would likely do well in a home without other animals or with one calm animal that would respect her space. She would do well in a home without young children, as she needs people to be gentle with her and give her the time she needs. She's social with people and likes to be around them. Misty is a very clean area, keeping her litter tidy (no litter box issues) and grazing on food throughout the day. If you give her temptation treats, she'll be your best friend in no time. She's a special and beautiful girl who deserves a wonderful home! This pet is currently available for adoption from a foster home. Please email [email protected]
