**AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN FOSTER** Grady arrived at the Maryland SPCA after being found as stray. He was sent to live with a wonderful foster family while undergoing medical treatment for a hearth condition. While in foster Grady has been living with 3 other dogs, a cat and two kittens. He has gotten along well with everyone and has become part of the family. He loves attention and will let you know when it's his turn by waving his paws at you or curling up next to you. He is the perfect match between active and laid back; whichever his people are feeling that day. He is great on walks and stays by your side, never pulls the leash. He likes the front or back seat of the car and will either gaze out the window or go to sleep. Grady is housetrained and can typically wait all day without an accident (8 hours). He has sensitive skin so we bathe him twice a week.
His favorite activities are tug-of-war, tennis ball parties and snuggling.
Grady also had a dental procedure and has only a few back teeth so should eat wet or moist food. He is not particular about what kind of dog food as long as it's moist or soft, he also enjoys soft dog treats .
Grady is on life-long medication for his heart condition. I can usually find something appealing to put the medicine in that he will eat.
He is a sweet lovable dog who makes us smile daily. If you're looking for a reason to smile, Grady is ready for the job! This pet is currently available for adoption from a foster home. Please email [email protected]
