AVAILABLE FROM FOSTER Just over a year ago, Gizzy came to the Maryland SPCA after presumably being hit by a car. He had healed broken ribs and two unusable knees, leaving him to have to drag his back legs behind him to walk. Despite being in pain, Gizzy's foster mom knew immediately that he was a special cat. Gizzy has had 2 extensive surgeries, months of daily rehab and laser therapy and weekly chiropractic care to repair his injuries and is now considered healthy! Gizzy is a very charming and charismatic cat, who loves anyone and everyone he meets- cats, dogs, and humans. He can also be a feisty boy who will only thrive in a home with other feline playmates. Gizz has so many hilarious quirks to him and is such a one of a kind cat. He can be easily overstimulated, so he should go to a home with an experienced cat owner. Whether he is shredding tissues, greeting you at the door every night, snuggling you, getting zoomies around the house, sleeping with all four feet in the air, he's going to make a great addition to the right home. After his long journey to be a healthy cat and being such a good boy during the process, Gizzy is so deserving of the perfect home! Please email [email protected] with a completed adoption application which can be found on our website, as well as more information about your home environment, lifestyle and what type of pet you are looking for.
