Precious Dumpling

At just nine weeks old, little Precious Dumpling found herself wedged in a car tire.

A good Samaritan helped her escape. They could see she was injured and brought her to the MD SPCA.

Precious had trouble using her back legs. Her tail hung limp. X-rays confirmed a fractured pelvis and tail. Our vet team prepared for the possibility of amputating her tail to ensure her quality of life.

Amazingly, her injuries healed during foster care! Precious became playful and affectionate. All she needed was spay surgery to become ready for adoption.

Precious was featured on Fox45 news and adopted the next day at an adoption event. Now she’s enjoying lots of playtime and affection in her furever home.

Donations from individuals, as well as companies like ATI Performance Products, makes it possible to care for pets like Precious Dumpling.
