Vehicle Donation

Your vehicle can help homeless pets! We accept cars, boats, RV’s and motorcycles in running condition with titles. Please complete the form below and we will contact you regarding signing the title and arranging for pick-up. The Maryland SPCA accepts vehicles in road-worthy condition that are model year 1993 or newer. You must have the title in your possession and it must be clear of all liens (all loans paid off!). We will arrange to have the vehicle towed from the Baltimore area and you will receive a letter that indicates that you donated the vehicle to us. To arrange to donate a boat, recreational vehicle, or motorcycle, please call 410-235-8826, ext. 135. Please note that it can take as long as 14 days for vehicles to be picked up. Insurance must remain in force as long as you have valid license plates for the vehicle. Plates must be removed and returned to the Motor Vehicle Administration.

Tax law requires vehicle donors to use for tax purposes the value that a vehicle is sold by the SPCA if the value is $500 or over. Values under $500 can be determined by the donor. The SPCA provides tax documents for all vehicles that sell for $500 or over to the donor.
