Humane Ed

Thanks to generous community support, the Maryland SPCA’s Humane Education Program was able to reach 11,213 students in more than 50 Baltimore City and County schools this year—instilling in them the importance of being kind to animals AND providing opportunities for them to become better readers.

Improving the lives of pets and people is important to us, and we know it is to you, too. Take a look at this short video—we think it will make you smile knowing that when you support the MD SPCA, you are truly making a difference in our community.

While doing so much good, we know we have so many more students we still need to reach. Studies consistently show the link between violence to animals and violence to people. By educating our youth, we will to create a safer community for pets and people.

We need your help to continue offering programs like this at the MD SPCA. Please take a minute, and Paws to Give this holiday season.

A gift of any amount will help.

Thank you!

Katie Flory
Director of MD SPCA’s Humane Education Program

P.S. If you have already made a gift to the Maryland SPCA, we thank you.
