Tuesday, November 28 was a day when people all across the country supported their favorite charities, like the Maryland SPCA. Today, we give thanks to everyone who made a life-saving donation to the MD SPCA, so we can continue our mission of improving the lives of pets and people in our community.
With gifts coming from adopters, Wine & Wag participants, to friends living in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and even as far away as California, $47,656 was raised to help unwanted and hurting pets like Ophelia and her baby Kip.
It’s a critical time of the year for the Maryland SPCA. All donations received from #GivingTuesday will be used to provide warm and safe shelter, nutritious meals, medical care, vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries to homeless dogs and cats in our community throughout the cold winter months.
If you haven’t had a chance to make your life-saving #GivingTuesday gift, there’s still time to help us reach our goal of $50,000. A tax-deductible gift of any amount will make a difference!
