The Maryland SPCA is pleased to offer community volunteer opportunities for youth under 17 years of age. These projects are great for scouts, school clubs, community youth groups, or individuals! Projects are to be completed off site with the help of an adult. Once the project is completed, participants can schedule a time to come tour the shelter to see how their efforts have helped the pets and their community.
Participants can earn service learning hours by tracking these hours and having a parent or guardian confirm.
Scout groups can earn one of our Maryland SPCA Pet Pals Patches for participating in a service project.
This program is specific to the Maryland SPCA located at 3300 Falls Road in Baltimore City. The Maryland SPCA is a private non-profit organization. We are not affiliated with any other shelters and do not receive funding from the ASPCA.
