Jump Start a Positive Relationship with Your Canine

Developed for our dog and puppy adopters, Positive Pooch is an instructional class designed to give our adopters the fundamentals of good dog training and jumpstart a good relationship between owner and canine. For our adopters, there is no charge to attend this one-session class. The class meets every Saturday at the Maryland SPCA from 10 to 11 a.m. There is no need to register in advance.

Positive Pooch is also open to the general public for a small donation. Regardless of where you obtained your dog, you can join us for the hour and help get your relationship off to a great start. People who have not adopted from the Maryland SPCA can register for Positive Pooch five minutes prior to the start of class. Your donation for the class helps us care for the many animals we help each year!

Positive Pooch is an excellent introduction to our training methods and our six week All-Star Canine course. Positive Pooch is taught by one of our expert Dog Consultants and is consistent with the tips outlined in the Pets Incredible Training DVD given to each adopter.
