14th Annual March for the Animals |
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 14th Annual March for the Animals, a 1.5-mile walk-a-thon benefiting The Maryland SPCA, on Sunday, April 19 at Druid Hill Park. Thousands of people and their four-legged canine companions attend the March this year, making it one of the Baltimore area’s largest events. We raised $360,000 for the homeless and needy animals in our community!
It was a fun day for the entire family, featuring pet costume contests and other activities, an agility course for dogs, obedience demos, a “flealess” market of pet-friendly vendors and more! The event got underway with Duff Goldman of “Ace of Cakes” cutting the ribbon at the starting line. A Food Network crew was present for filming. Some photos from the event are featured below. Check back soon for our list of top fundraisers and more photos.
Donations are still being accepted online and by mail.
If mailing, please send donations to The March for the Animals, The Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore MD 21211. Checks should be made out to The Maryland SPCA.
