I'm a Lucky 7 pet so my adoption fee is $0! Miss Missy is a sassy senior looking for a special person to adopt her. Before coming to the Maryland SPCA, this 16 year old lady had been the only pet in the same home for her entire life. All the new sights, smells, and people have been a little scary to Miss Missy, and in her new home she will need someone who will give her lots of time to adjust and get comfortable. Missy is a little old fashioned, so she likes to take it slow when getting to know new people. Once you get to know her, this chatty girl enjoys sitting next to you on the couch and getting the occasional scratch of the head. Miss Missy is not short on cattitude though, and will definitely tell you if you're going to fast for her! Besides lounging, Miss Missy's favorite thing in the world is playing with her wand toy. As soon as you pick up the toy she turns into an acrobat that will jump and flip to catch it! She will even bring the toy back to you so you can keep playing with her! Miss Missy would do best in a low key home as an only pet. She is front declawed, and has excellent litterbox habits. Even though she is not a lap cat, she will be an excellent companion to a person who can give her the time to get comfortable in her new home. If you're interested in meeting Miss Missy please contact the foster department at foster@mdspca.org to set up an appointment. Finding The Right Pet
