*AVAILABLE FROM A FOSTER HOME* Hello there, my name is Lucy and I love to cuddle and play with dangling string toys. I'm a bit shy at first, but once I warm up, I love sitting on your lap or by your side and getting scratches on my head and under my chin. I've lived both alone and with dogs and children before. I'm excited to see my new home! Here's what my foster mommy has to say about me: "Lucy is one of the most affectionate cats I have met! I always know when she is in the room from her loud purrs and she is not afraid to get your attention with a string of meows! She spent the first few days under the couch, but quickly warmed up after she's had a bit of time and space to explore new settings. Once she's comfortable in a home, she is relatively friendly with strangers and will solicit any pets on the head she can get from them! She loves to indulge herself in scratches on the head and all over her neck; she's just as comfortable cuddled next to you, as she is on the floor beside you keeping you company. Lucy is a happy drooler and will salivate a bit when you hit her "sweet spot" right near her chin. At nighttime, she becomes more active and loves to play with string toys or smaller toys she can chase around. Lucy is not very picky when it comes to food or her litter box. She has had dental surgery in the past, but requires no medication or special medical attention--just your affection!" This pet is currently available for adoption from a foster home. Please email foster@mdspca.org with a completed adoption application which can be found on our website, as well as more information about your home environment, lifestyle and what type of pet you are looking for.
