Notes from a foster parent: We built an awesome room when we finished our basement (I still got my game room/music studio and bar :P) and haven't stopped fostering since. My wife and I have fostered over 50 cats and it is one of the most rewarding things we have decided to do. Our newest foster, a little girl named Leigh is a special one! She has CH (cerebral hypoplasia) but with a little time to adjust and get comfortable; she is now walking awesome, playing with all the other cats&kittens and completely litter box trained! She is the softest and most loving cat we have fostered. Although it will be hard to let her go, she is now ready for her forever home and a family to share her love with. She's a bit scared of dogs but with time and patience would do alright. We would love for her to be placed in a home with other cats because she has blossomed and learned from them. **A cat with CH often falls down and has trouble walking or cannot seem to walk at all. CH in cats is non-progressive, meaning it does not get worse with age. Cerebellar Hypoplasia occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain which controls fine motor skills and coordination, is not completely mature at birth.** If you are interested in coming to meet Leigh contact foster@mdspca.org Finding The Right Pet
