AVAILABLE FROM FOSTER Ginger is a big colorful girl with a big colorful personality. Tipping the scales at 12 pounds, this five year-old green eyed calico will fill your home and your heart. She does everything in a big way. She's a talker with many opinions. After she's shared her views of her world, she may gallop around the house for a few minutes, chasing something imaginary, then curl up in a ball on a soft cushion or on your lap (don't move!) to rest up for a few hours. She will be a constant companion mornings and evenings. She's very self-confident. Although she may seem to complain, Ginger is a happy cat. She sometimes rolls around on the floor just to hear you tell her how cute she is. Of course, a belly or ear rub is always welcome. She loves to watch the world outside from the windowsill and would appreciate a secure porch or patio where she can sunbathe and sniff at the breeze. She's learned to drink from a tap and may ask you to run the water for her. She prefers dry kibble food and enjoys a treat every now and then. She likes an early-to-bed, early-to-rise schedule and will sleep on your bed - next to your head if you let her. In foster care, she adapted very quickly to a new home and family, where she is the only pet. Ginger is available for visits and adoption in her foster home in Hampden. This pet is currently available for adoption from a foster home. Please email foster@mdspca.org with a completed adoption application which can be found on our website, as well as more information about your home environment, lifestyle and what type of pet you are looking for.
