Hi! My name is Friar Tuck. I am about 7 years old and my foster mom says I am the biggest love bug! I get along well with other cats, don't mind dogs, and am just as happy to have kids pet me as I am adults. I can be a little shy at first, but it doesn't take me too long to get used to things. Do you work a lot? Are you home a lot? Either way, I am the cat for you. I am just as happy to nap by myself, or curled up next to you on the couch. I would love it if when we are watching tv, you would scratch my chin and/or rub my belly. You'll know I am happy because I am a purring machine! Since I'm not a young kitten anymore, I really don't need a lot of entertainment, but boy oh boy, I sure do love catnip toys!! They makes me soooo happy! I don't mean to keep bragging, but let me tell you some other cool things about myself. I am perfect with using the litter box, I use a scratching post, AND I even let my foster mom trim my nails! You can't find a more perfect cat! There is one more thing I need to tell you. When my foster mom first took me in, I was really overweight. I didn't do much of anything but lie around and my sparkling personality was kind of hidden under all that excess weight. I have worked really hard to shed those pounds and I really don't want to put them back on. If you do decide I am the perfect cat for you (because, well, I'm awesome!) I just ask that you help me stay at a healthy weight so I can be around to love you for a very long time. Friar Tuck is available from foster; if you are interested in meeting Friar Tuck, please contact foster@mdspca.org to make an appointment. I'm a Lucky 7 pet so my adoption fee is $0!
