*AVAILABLE FROM FOSTER* Arizona is a smart, playful, wonderful young guy who loves long walks and belly rubs. At home he likes to chew on his marrow bones, nap on the couch, or follow his humans around the house. He has a basket of toys in our living room that he pulls from when he's bored.
He's a quick learner and is very attentive. It only took him a couple of days to adjust to our foster home. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and knows "sit", "stay", and "come".
Arizona does really well with other dogs, even large off-leash dogs who have run up to him on walks. He'd do best in a home with no cats since he's chased them in a home before.
Although he's come a really long way, he's still learning his manners and needs a forever home that can stay consistent with his training. (The main issue is mouthiness when playing and putting on his harness.) He'd do best with a 40+ min walk daily and/or a large fenced-in yard.
Arizona is on a prescription diet to manage early renal insufficiency. You will want to speak with your vet about this diet and his medical plan moving forward.
Arizona's adoption fee has been waived! This pet is currently available for adoption from a foster home. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a completed adoption application which can be found on our website, as well as more information about your home environment, lifestyle and what type of pet you are looking for.
