AVAILABLE FROM FOSTER This adorable little guy is Apple Cider (Cider for short). He is as cute as they come and has a big personality, despite his petite size. He is currently enjoying his stay at his foster home and will be available for adoption from there as an Adoption Ambassador. Cider is a total shadow cat who follows his foster mom everywhere, loves to curl up in your lap, but likes only brief pets and scratches. He tolerates being picked up and held, but does not enjoy it. Being a lively, energetic guy, he sometimes becomes overstimulated with too much physical attention. Fortunately, he has learned to express his desire to end the interaction in very appropriate ways. It also helps that he has lots of buddies in his foster home to help get all of that energy out! He LOVES other animals (cats and dogs) and will play on-and-off all day with them. He also loves his feather wand and work-to-eat toys! He is also very smart and has learned a few "tricks" via clicker training! This guy will need a home with other, friendly and playful animals to help provide him with appropriate play outlets. Because of his behavior quirks he would do best with humans who have previous cat experience and older (or no) children. If you are interested in adopting Apple Cider please contact the Foster Department to schedule a meeting! This pet is currently available for adoption from a foster home. Please email foster@mdspca.org with a completed adoption application which can be found on our website, as well as more information about your home environment, lifestyle and what type of pet you are looking for.
